If our products do not arrive in excellent condition, or you are unhappy with them, please contact us (you will need to provide details of the issue). We will be happy to either 100% refund or replace your order, whichever you prefer. All refunds will be to either the credit card used to make the original purchase or to a bank account of your choice.

Delivery of your online order

All Poaka online shop orders are sent out each week on Thursday afternoon, via overnight courier. Poaka Salami is shelf stable and can be couriered to a rural address. Fresh product (dry cured bacon and fresh sausages) can only be sent to non-rural addresses. Fresh product must be delivered the next day to ensure the product arrives in a safe and suitable condition. Rural delivery generally takes a minimum of two days for delivery, so is not suitable for fresh Poaka product.  If you are a rural delivery and you want to order our fresh sausages and dry cured bacon, please provide us with a non-rural address where you can pick up from.  We can send your order to this address near you and you can pick your order up from there.

We need to have your online shop order by 10 am Thursday morning so it can be shipped out that week. Online Orders placed after that time will be shipped out the following week.  If your order is urgent, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Our fresh dry cured bacon and sausages are packed in a “Chilltainer”, which is a thermally insulated eco-friendly box, along with frozen gel packs. This ensures the fresh product is kept at a safe temperature for up to 48 hours. So your products will arrive in perfect, safe condition. The box can be reused or simply put in your recycling bin, it will be processed as normal cardboard.

Online Order Cancellation policy

If you place an order on Poaka’s online shop, and later decide that you do not want to proceed with your order (you wish to cancel the order), you can do this. Please contact us ASAP and before the order has been shipped (Thursday afternoon) to you. If your order has already been shipped (you will receive a confirmation email with shipping details), it is unfortunately too late to cancel your order. However we will do our best to try and work out a solution for you.
