Poaka only use natural casings for our salami. This allows natural penicillium mould to colonize the surface. This results in an incredibly smooth flavour and an authentic looking salami.
Our half salami’s weigh a minimum 350g, our natural casings vary in size, so you may get more!

Our salami’s are shelf stable (they don’t require refrigeration) and can be safely stored at room temperature. However to maintain top product quality, we recommend keeping your salami in the fridge, or a suitable cool dark place. Before you eat your salami, remove from the fridge, slice as thinly as you can. Then allow the sliced salami to come up to room temperature for maximum flavour and enjoyment. For more information please read our Salami storage and serving page.
